Ductless Mini Split Heat Pumps are great for heating and cooling many small, medium, and large homes. They are one of the best solutions for having a high efficiency and cost effective heating and cooling system added to a home that already has a primary heating source, but that primary source may not be very efficient.
How to upgrade from our standard company 1 year labour warranty to 2 years labour warranty or to qualify for any other extended warranties we offer: Make a $25.00 donation to SPCA Nova Scotia through our website on our "Fundraiser" subpage. You must make the donation after signing an installation contract, and before the completion of the installation. You must also allow the fundraiser to show your name, and the amount donated to show our success in fundraising for needy animals. The default setup on the fundraiser is to show that information. If you make the selection to hide that information, your donation will not qualify for any extra warranty, but thanks in advance for that donation to SPCA NS anyway.
Note: To qualify for any Labor warranty beyond 30 days you must have Electrical Surge Protection on your heat pump system.
We do install Electrical Surge Protectors if you don't currently have one. The extra cost adding a Surge Protector for your system is $100.00 plus tax. Some People have a Total Home Protection Electrical Surge Protector right on their Electric Panel, so in that case you wouldn't need another one and you would then get our standard 1 year Labor warranty right away included.
Please inquire if you wish to learn how much extra an additional 7 years of labour warranty will cost you after you have already qualified for the first 2 years of Labour Warranty.
Which system is best for you? Please take a look at our blog post regarding how to choose a system and some good pointers at what to look for, and factors to consider. Once you get to that page, just look for the pdf file download to obtain the information. HOW TO CHOOSE A HEAT PUMP CLICK BELOW

What We Include with Mini Split Heat Pump Install, and What Costs Extra.
A few of the important things we consider when quoting the exact price of your job, is:
A) Length of your Slim Duct and the lines within it, which include refrigerant lines, insulation on those lines, drain line, and 14/4 electrical wire. These lines within the slim duct run from the outdoor unit, along the outer wall of your home to the indoor head in your home. The length limit of the slim duct line package is 15 feet . Above and beyond that length limit is an additional fee of 20.00 dollars per foot extra.
Normally it is best to keep the outdoor unit and indoor unit both on the same PERIMITER wall of your home to try to keep within the slim duct line package limit, and help to keep you at the lower end price advertised.
B) The length of the 12/2 electrical wire goes between your Electric Panel and the Electrical Disconnect box mounted right beside your outdoor unit. The length limit of that included with the job is 25 feet. Any additional wire required above and beyond that 25 feet is only $2.50 per foot extra. When figuring out the design and routing of your system, if there is a choice to either go beyond slim duct line package limit or beyond the Main Power 12/2 wire limit, usually, the Main Power Line limit is chosen to exceed, because it is much less expensive to add to.
C) The size of your breaker panel, and if there are extra spaces available for a new breaker to be installed in that panel. We include the new breaker needed for the job as long as it is under our 40 dollar limit for that item. Usually breakers are between 25 and 35 dollars,
but some old ones are over 100 dollars, so in that case we would pass that extra fee beyond that breaker 40 dollar limit onto you.
We also provide the licensed Electrician for his end.
WE STRIVE TO STICK TO OUR LOWEST PRICE POSSIBLE ON ALL JOBS, AND TO OUR ORIGINAL ADVERTISED PRICES AS OFTEN AS WE CAN.
